It made the dynamic better and more understandable. And yet again, like I mentioned before haha, I really like that Kennedy split the novel into both Summer’s and Colin’s point of view. I deffo swooned a couple of times, and although Fitzy ain’t my favorite – because of his broodiness and prejudices honestly – I did feel through the pages (poetic I know) that he really cares about Summer and that in the end of the day he just struggles with expressing his feelings. It’s like you can’t have a bad day in this world 😦Īnywaysssss, like I mentioned quickly before I lovE the CHEMISTRY between these character’s – Summer and Colin. Unlike Summer, I myself haven’t had quite the same prejudices against me but I’ve always had this feeling that people look and think of you differently if you’re a happy person usually and then one day arrive sad. She’s had a lot of problems with people dismissing her because of her positive nature, and many has seen her as stupid or/and dumb because she’s a girly girl who likes clothes.

I felt in some ways connected to her, and the thoughts she had about herself. A girl who loves shopping and clothes, and is smart and has good values – yeah, nothing more to say about that really. Summer is my favorite – I love her bubbly personality and sassiness. I love the chemistry between our two main character’s, and that we get to see the story from both of their perspective. I definitely liked this one! Elle Kennedy has a quick and fun pace in her writing which made it very easy to read and enjoy. So if my sexy brooding roomie wises up and realizes what he’s missing? I’ve got my hands full dealing with a new school, a sleazy professor, and an uncertain future. I’m not the kind of girl who chases after a man, though, and I’m not about to start. Fitzy has made it clear he’s not interested in me, even though the sparks between us are liable to burn our house down. It doesn’t help that he’s buddy-buddy with my brother.Īnd that his best friend has a crush on me. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him. I don’t usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. And they must be right, because there’s no logical reason why I’m so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. Will her brother’s best friend ever fall for her?Įveryone says opposites attract.
